Pastoral Care for the Parish is provided by Sr. Francella Vyverman, O.P. and parishioners who spend time with the sick and elderly of the parish.
The RCIA program gives people who want to know more about the Catholic Faith an understanding of the faith through the study of scriptures, church doctrine and traditions. Those who have never been baptized, receive the Sacraments of Initiation at the Easter Vigil.  For those who are already one with us through baptism, the process can culminate as soon as the person has an understanding of the practices and beliefs of the Catholic Church.
The Bible Study Group meets on Monday night at 6:30 pm in the Parish Library to discuss the readings for the next Sunday.  Bible Study is open to all parishioners.
Those over fifty meet once a month from September through May at Cathedral, or some other location, for social time and dinner.
As the readings begin at Sunday Mass children are dismissed to hear and discuss and the readings at their own level.  They rejoin their parents for the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
Cathedral Rallies Around Faith Together is faith formation for all ages.  Sessions are held in the Cathedral School Hall and start at 5:45 pm with a meal ( a free-will offering is all that is required).  During a session, we share a meal, learn about the topic together with others, share what we have learned and our experiences, and then return for a celebration centering on what we have learned.  This program is for everyone.  Child care is provided.  Please plan on attending.  This is a great way to renew your faith and share what you already know with others of all ages.
The St. Vincent DePaul Society is group that reaches out to the poor by working to provide food, clothing, housing, and transportation for them.
